Great post! I am going to sew a few things with some scrap material I saved. The only thing it will cost me is a little electricity for the sew machine. I will pick colors that I know each person will like. DH & I don't do gifts to each other anymore, We decided if we wanted it, get it then. However there is seldom anything we want & we certainly harrdly ever need anythin-just our monthly meds. We made arrangement & paid for our cremation a few years ago. It was a locked in price if fully paid for. The only thing our DD will have to pay for is transportation for our bodies & our death certificates. We didn't want to leave a financial burden for our daughter. Not being morbid just being practical & facing facts.
