How should I layer the Mixes?

There is no right or wrong way to layer your jar mixes. However, to make the CONE most appealing, try using various textures & contrasting colors. For instance in a Butterscotch cookie mix, place a layer of flour first, brown sugar second, nuts third , butterscotch chips fourth and so on. The variety will add appeal to your gifts and make them visually enticing.

Here are several tips for successfully layering your Cones.

      1. Start with the lightest ingredients first: Flour (be sure to mix your baking soda, powder, salt if listed). This will ensure that the mix incorporates smoothly.
      2. Remember to use recipes that are a total of 2-3 cups of ingredients.
      3. Add your nuts, raisins, chocolate pieces, candies and other larger, more coarse ingredients.

      Re: Honey Apple Butter

Regarding Splenda. It is derived from sugar in a chemical process. Their claims of being made from sugar is true, they just leave out the fact that they process it till it is nothing but a chemical.

      Re: Honey Apple Butter

If one chooses to not use Splenda type products, then can just use the regular brown sugar. It'll still turn out -extremely- good.
I've read about the negative things on artificial sweetners, but...
