Thread: Wheat Free Bread Machine Recipes?

Hi,



I have a bread machine and would love to start making my own bread.

For health reasons, I do not eat wheat unless it is sprouted. Does

anyone have any good recipes to make either sprouted whole wheat bread,

spelt, rye or any other type of non-wheat bread? I got a book from the

library and tried to make spelt bread but it came out like a brick and

was totally unedible. I just want to be able to save money and not

have to eat bread that is horrible. I usually buy Alvardo Street

Sprouted wheat bread but it is really expensive. It is like $4/loaf

and we eat 2 loaves a week. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I add apple sauce to my cakes for moisture .Would that work in the bread

machine?
