1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup butter
1 egg
* teaspoon baking powder </font>
<font face="Bell MT" size="4">3 cups flour

Cream butter, sugar and egg; add dry ingredients which have been
sifted together. Add chopped nuts. Mix well and form into two rolls on
waxed paper. Chill overnight. Slice and bake on a cookie sheet at 375
degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove to racks to cool.</font>
