Finally, Hubby got the OK to get in the pool. Got a chance to swim today before the rain came. Everything is healing fine on the outside, still got months to go before the inside is healed.

Things are looking up now. Hubby went in to hospital last week for spine surgery. Had a 6 hr one on Tuesday and then another 7 1/2 hr one Thursday. Everyone is so happy he can now feel his feet and turn his head. Now comes about 6 months of healing and P.T.

Been out of the system for a while. Hubby has finally gotten dates for his back surgery. So have been busy getting him to doc appts and other tests. the docs will be going in from the side to replace the disks that are bad (L2 to L5), then two days later will go in from the back to put "cages" around the spine to stabilize it.

DH had a MRI done today. He has been off since Dec 30, when he fell from a bucket truck at work. The fall wasn't that bad, but he had already injured his back in two other falls. I am hoping that he can medical retire from work. If he does we are planning to sell my car, that would save us on tags, insurance, and gas/maintenance.
