Finally, Hubby got the OK to get in the pool. Got a chance to swim today before the rain came. Everything is healing fine on the outside, still got months to go before the inside is healed.

Today being Sunday we are taking a day off from cleaning. After service this morning I did get the Bok Choy planted. The carrots have gotten real leaves now and if I wanted to I can harvest some of the tops from the onions now. DH had a MRI done today. He has been off since Dec 30, when he fell from a bucket truck at work. The fall wasn't that bad, but he had already injured his back in two other falls. I am hoping that he can medical retire from work. If he does we are planning to sell my car, that would save us on tags, insurance, and gas/maintenance.

I have made out 4 weeks of menus. Since I have my meals planned, now I am working on getting a shopping list of each week complied. This will tell me each week what is needed for that weeks meals. By checking my pantry, I should be able to see just what I need to buy. Hoping this ...

Thinking about building a solar cooker to see if they really work. Got some plans off the net, now to get hubby to cut it out for me. Seems to work a lot like a slow cooker, just uses sunlight instead of electricity. Hum, free is good.
