Family Matters

Finally, Hubby got the OK to get in the pool. Got a chance to swim today before the rain came. Everything is healing fine on the outside, still got months to go before the inside is healed.

Hubby got 48 staples taken out of his back this week. Still can't get in the pool for another 6 weeks. He can do more for himself everyday it seems. I still have to tie his shoes and help with the pants (he can't bend over or twist). The good thing is that now he is not driving to work we are saving a bundle on gas.

Things are looking up now. Hubby went in to hospital last week for spine surgery. Had a 6 hr one on Tuesday and then another 7 1/2 hr one Thursday. Everyone is so happy he can now feel his feet and turn his head. Now comes about 6 months of healing and P.T.

Here is the latest photo of my pineapple.It had grown so much this week. Hopefully it will bloom in the next 2-3 weeks. Then you will be in for a real beautiful photo.


Things on the home front are about the same. Still waiting. ...

Starting a new week and even the weather agree to behave. Last week-end was a bugger bear, DBIL is in an Orlando Hospital after having a mild heart attack. He is okay kinda sorta of.
