Well I only got an hour off but it was great! Got to read a chapter in a couple books I've been trying to read and a short nap before I had to lace up those boots and got moving again. Snowing and DD had to go out to the horse farm 40 miles away and I drove her in the 4 wheel drive truck just in case... Got my new gas range installed while I was gone. Yea!!! The last couple weeks has been frustrating without a working reliable oven. Worked up a huge batch of V-8 tonight so got done with all the stuff that would go bad fast now. Now down to carrots, beets, potatoes and sweet potatoes. Waiting for the rest of the beets to come in and then do those and can do the rest slowly. Hope my son gets a couple deer this weekend to fill our freezers up!
