On Friday, my girls are going in for their shot updates. Blech. I hate, hate, hate taking them to get shots. I think they are slightly behind on them, so it's time to get them done. Any ideas for making it better for them? They are five and ten years old.

In a few hours we will be heading about an hour south to get (hopefully) the final surgery for my youngest. He woke up about a half hour ago (5:00am) hungry and thirsty but of course can not have anything. I am so excited to say that we are ending our 2008 on a great note! Surgery went smooth once it started. The hospital called us at 8:00 and said that the doctor wanted to move the surgery up an hour and could we be there by 9:30. You better believe it!
