When is the prom ? Does he have time to get to know her a bit, before their night out ? Doesn't this time in your sons life bring back memories of your High School Days? Hope they have a good time.

Sounds like an adventure. If all else fails, I know this sounds awful, but since they barely know each other he could ditch the girl.

The Prom is next Saturday the 28 th. He has talked to her a bit to see if she would like prime rib or chicken and what color dress she has. He would never dump a girl I think he will just make the best out of the situation -His friend who is a girl said he is to nice of a guy not to go with someone - so she set him up with a friend -she only lives 2 1/2 hours away , so if it does work , he can chalk it up as a life lesson. He is really excited because he has never had a date , he is well to shy -I bet they will have fun anyway -it only one night -Maybe??lol -Bobbi-ne

That is great Bobbi, he will enjoy his date I'm sure. It's very exciting to have a first date. I remember mine, I was nervous, but very excitied. Like you said if it doesn't work, will he has learned something from it. I hope that they have a wonderful time at the Prom.

I'm so glad he got a date. I'm sure he'll make the best of it. And he'll have great memories of his prom.

How wonderful to have a friend who will help him find someone to go to the prom with. I am sure that she is a very nice girl! The greatest aspect of this is that he will still be going to his prom and he just might have a new friend because of it. You will have to post and tell us how the experience was for him.
