Chocolate Waffles Mix

Ingredients:

2 C. Homemade Bisquick
2 Eggs
1 c Buttermilk or sour milk
1/2 ts Vanilla extract
1 tb Shortening -- melted
1/2 ts Baking soda
1/4 c Sugar
1/4 c Cocoa

Beat eggs with a rotary or electric beater until frothy. Add milk, vanilla and

shortening. Stir to combine. Add Mix, soda, sugar and cocoa. Beat with beater

until lumps are small but batter is not smooth. Pour onto heated waffle iron

and bake. These can be made ahead of time and frozen. Simply pop them into

the toaster for a quick breakfast.
