Hearty Pancake Mix

Ingredients:

1 c. instant oats, ground

2 c.  all-purpose flour

1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour

1 c.  dried buttermilk powder

1/3 c. sugar

3 T. baking powder

1 T. baking soda

1 tsp. dried orange peel

1 c. raisins

1 c. sliced almonds -- toasted

Combine all ingredients in Jar (in Layers) Or vacuum seal bag.

To Make Hearty Pancakes

1 Jar Hearty Pancake Mix

1 2/3 cups water

1 egg

3 T. vegetable oil

Combine the above, mix well, Batter will be slightly lumpy.

Cook on lightly greased griddle or skillet. J
